Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have formal technical training and at least 1 years of Heavy Duty Truck maintenance experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Communicates with and provides Shop Foreman with accurate and detailed repair information for inclusion on the Repair Order.
  • Reads written fault description on Repair Order and determines the most efficient repair procedure.
  • Performs road test on customer vehicles to assist in problem isolation or to verify repair procedure.
  • Uses diagnostic equipment to detect and isolate faults in medium and heavy duty vehicles and interprets test results.
  • Writes up clear, accurate, and detailed repair description of each operation on the corresponding Repair Order, to include a description of the cause of failure and the correction and/or repair procedure used
  • Interacts with customers in a professional and positive manner.
  • Assists other technicians with repair procedures as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
  • Troubleshoots various systems, to include electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, and suspension, identifies needed repairs and performs corrective action.
  • Writes up on the repair order an accurate, clear, and detailed description of the cause of failure and the repair procedure(s) used.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Valid in-state driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to use Windows based computer systems, Microsoft Office excel/word, and read vendor catalogs

Peterbilt Sales Representative

Job Summary

The primary function of the Heavy Truck Sales Representative is to develop and grow truck sales from new and established customers within an assigned territory. This position is Draw plus commission.
This job also includes company demo vehicle.
The earnings potential is UNLIMITED!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calls on prospective customers within assigned territory.
  • Identifies prospective customers, develops and applies strategy necessary to obtain orders.
  • Maintains contact with customers in relation to their requirements.
  • Makes company services available to customers within the Parts & Service Departments.
  • Refers complaints and leads to proper department managers within the Company.
  • Reports on competitive activity.
  • Keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers that will create sales.
  • Keeps records and makes reports on all phases of activity.
  • Coordinates efforts with outside parts and service sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.
  • Keeps all departments informed on customer needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in business to business, equipment, parts or truck related sales very helpful.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Valid in-state driver's license with acceptable driving record, CDL a plus

Ford Technician

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have formal technical training and at least 1 years of Mechanic experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with Ford and/or dealership standards
  • Technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, manual transmission, automatic transmission, etc. to specification
  • Technicians complete Vehicle Inspection Report to identify additional automotive repairs and recommended maintenance
  • Technicians explain the vehicle diagnosis and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Job requirements:

As an Automotive Technician, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician:

  • FORD CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
  • Experience as an automotive technician
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information
